Buffalo Hot Dogs

Tangy twist on hot dogs with buffalo mayo, blue cheese and thinly sliced celery

Ingredients
  

  • 4 hot dogs I like the beef ones
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • buffalo sauce to taste I prob used about 2 tbsp
  • juice of 1 lime
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 celery stalks thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles

Instructions
 

  • Make the mayo by mixing the mayo, buffalo sauce, lime, and salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
  • Cook the hot dogs in whatever fashion you prefer. I typically put mine in a skillet with a thin layer of water and cover it over medium heat to let them cook that way until the water is evaporated and then I let them brown up a little.
  • If you'd like to toast your buns in a warm skillet or the oven you can. I did and we liked the toasted bun. Place a hot dog on each but and top with some mayo, blue cheese and celery and another drizzle of mayo. Serve.
