Korean Braised Tofu (Dubu Jorim)
Tasty braised tofu in yummy korean sauce

- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1-2 tbsp korean red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 sliced scallions
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- oil for frying
- 2 blocks firm tofu cut into rectangles
Mix sauce ingredients other than scallions in a small bowl. Heat a non stick skillet over medium heat and add a few tbsp of oil. Add the tofu and brown on one side (about 5 minutes), then flip and brown the other side. Pour the sauce over and allow the tofu to simmer until the liquid is mostly gone. Sprinkle with scallions and serve with rice.
