Yorkshire Puddings

Fluffy, light and tasty - Yorkshire puddings are a bread like side dish with a light and airy texture that go great with roasts or in my case chicken and gravy

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 1/4 cup AP flour
  • oil for the pan

Instructions

  • Blend the batter well and allow to sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Heat your oven to 425. Place about a tsp of oil in each of the muffin wells in your muffin pan. Place the pan into the preheated oven until the oil is hot enough to start smoking - 5-10 minutes.
  • Ladle batter into each muffin well until they are about 3/4 full and all the batter is used. Place into the oven and bake 15-20 min without opening the oven. Watch them after 15 to be sure they don't burn.
  • Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
