Fried Olives with Garlic Aioli

Panko coated green olives deep fried and served with garlic aioli

Ingredients
  

For the olives:

  • 1 6 oz jar small green olives
  • 1/2 cup panko flakes
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • oil for frying

For the Aioli:

  • 1/3 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

For the olives:

  • Place flour in one bowl, beaten egg in another, and panko in a third.
  • Dip the olives in the flour, then into the egg, and finally into the panko.
  • Heat the oil to 350 and fry for a few minutes until browned. Drain on paper towels.

For the Aioli:

  • Mix ingredients in a bowl and serve along with the olives.
