Wok Charred Green Beans

Crisp blistered green beans cooked in wok with ginger, garlic and soy sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups fresh green beans ends removed if needed
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 2 inch piece fresh ginger peeled and minced
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Mince the ginger and garlic. Heat a wok or a skillet over very high heat until it is as hot as you can get it. Add the oil and trimmed green beans and let them cook until some blackened areas appear. Toss and cook for another minute or two. Add the ginger and garlic and soy sauce and toss briefly. Serve immediately.
