My Favorite BBQ Sauce

I originally posted this bbq sauce recipe as part of a larger recipe a few years ago, but seeing as it is bbq season and the 4th tomorrow, I thought it needed it’s own post. This sauce has been my favorite for years and it is quick and easy to make and SO much better than bottled sauce from the grocery store. It is a tomato and molasses based sauce with lots of spices and a really fantastic flavor.

To make this, you don’t have to chop or wash anything. Just put a bunch of stuff in a pot, simmer for 30 minutes, and you are done. Make sure if you pour this into a glass container after cooking, that you use a heat safe one, like a canning jar. Hope you make this for a summer bbq and love it as much as I do.
