Silent Night Cocktail

Silent Night Cocktail

The silent night cocktail is my favorite type of cocktail. It is a basically a slightly doctored up bourbon on the rocks. The addition of benedictine and a hint of orange add herbal and fruity notes. I like a strong drink, and this one is definitely strong. You can add a orange twist for serving if you like to be fancy.

I’m honestly too lazy most of the time to garnish my cocktails unless it is a special occasion or something. Instead of the expressed orange peel, I used a packed of true orange in each drink instead. I’m sure this is considered appalling by bartenders everywhere but it works 🙂 True orange is basically just orange oil/juice that is crystalized so it gives the same effect.

If you would like to try a slightly less impactful drink, check out some of my other cocktail recipes here.
