I do not think I can convey how totally addicting these garlic parmesan saltines are! They look very unassuming, but they are an awesome snack. If you want to make my Christmas crack, and you have saltines left over, this is what you should use them for.
These crackers couldn’t be simpler to make. Place 2 sleeves of saltines into either a big ziplock bag, or an airtight container with a lid. In a measuring cup mix together some oil and seasonings. Pour the mixture over the crackers and then rotate them every so often to make sure the seasoning gets to all of them. Enjoy! That’s it.
I have made these using ranch powder before and they are really good too, but this garlic parm version is my favorite. I used the Kosmos garlic parm wing dust (which happens to be on sale for cyber Monday right now if you wanted to pick some up), along with some red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and grated parmesan. These are a perfect snack to put out for a party, people will not be able to stop eating them.
Garlic Parmesan Saltines
- 2 sleeves saltines
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/2 oz garlic parm wing dust
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- Combine the oil and seasonings and stir well. Pour onto crackers in an airtight container and shake gently to cover. Continue to shake/mix every few minutes for a while until they are fully covered. Store in an airtight container for a week.
