Alabama White Sauce

Last night for dinner we had a variation on these chicken sliders, but full sized and with a slightly tweaked version of Alabama white sauce. What is Alabama white sauce? It is a mayo based ‘bbq’ sauce seasoned with a bunch of tasty things like garlic, Dijon, horseradish, and Worcestershire sauce. I think it would make an amazing dipping sauce for chicken nuggets or tender and the next time I make those I will whip some up for that. It was also make a fantastic dipping sauce for a veggie tray.

This sauce is really quick to make with mostly stuff you already have around (if you keep Dijon and Worcestershire around all the time like we do). I did buy a new thing or horseradish for this, but we love horseradish so it won’t go to waste. If you don’t want to buy horseradish or you want a tamer version of the sauce, you can just use the Dijon or add a bit extra. You can also adjust the sugar in this to your liking. I don’t like it overly sweet so don’t add too much.
