Blackened Chicken Sliders with White BBQ Sauce

I will be honest, before I made this recipe, I didn’t know what was in white bbq sauce and I assumed it was basically just mayonnaise. It does contain mayo, but it also contains a ton of other ingredients and it was more delicious than I was expecting. These blackened chicken sliders are a perfect use of it!

Blackened chicken is just chicken that is coated in a spice mixture and pan seared. The mix of spices means this chicken will be anything but bland and it complements the bbq sauce really well. I used chicken breast, you can also use thighs if you prefer. These would be sooo good on homemade slider rolls, but I didn’t have time for that so used store rolls.

The white bbq sauce contains mayo, but also vinegar, dijon mustards, sugar, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic and onion powder. It is so versatile and could be used in may ways. I think it would make a great drizzle for roasted veggies.
