Cool, creamy, and bursting with citrusy goodness—this homemade Orange Julius is a nostalgic treat you can whip up in minutes. Made with frozen orange juice, milk, vanilla, and a touch of sweetness, it’s blended with ice for that signature frothy finish. Perfect for breakfast, an afternoon pick-me-up, or a healthier dessert alternative. No mystery ingredients—just refreshing, old-school flavor made at home!
I have been making this homemade orange julius for my kids since they were little. I originally got the recipe from my wonderful step mom who in turn had been making it for her boys since they were little. It takes 5 minutes to make and is so creamy and delicious. It is a great warm weather drink to make as we head into summer. I love to use the vanilla I linked to above for this drink. It has a really nice flavor that compliments the drink. If you’d like some other non-alcoholic drink ideas, try my ginger beer, horchata, or sparkling blueberry lemonade.
