Rosé Blackberry Fizz

I often make cocktails to go with dinner on Friday night and this one is the tastiest I’ve made in a while. I’m not a fan of sweet cocktails, so I wasn’t sure this would be for me, but it was actually really well balanced and the blackberries and lime gave a nice sour counterpoint to the sweetness of the St. Germain and the rosé. After we drank these, we were wishing we had another, so I will definitely make this again. I used LaMarca rosé prosecco for the rosé portion. I didn’t have fresh blackberries, but I had frozen ones in my freezer, and they worked great! They still added a ton of blackberry flavor. If you are looking for a tasty cocktail, give this one a try.

For 2 drinks:

  • 1 cup of rosé prosecco
  • 8 blackberries, muddled and strained
  • 2 ounces of St. Germaine or other Elderflower liquer
  • juice of 1 lime

Muddle the blackberries with the St. Germaine and lime, and then strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove the pulp. I put this mixture into the freezer for a few hours to get it nice and cold. Divide the blackberry mixture into two coupe glasses, (amazon has some cute affordable ones), ideally chilled, and pour in the prosecco. Then drink!
