Hemingway Daiquiri Cocktail
Hemingway Daiquiri

I thought I would share this Hemingway daiquiri cocktail recipe with you all that we really enjoyed. Bonus points for being named after a writer too, as I am a huge lover of reading and books. Not to go off topic, but what is everyone reading these days? Anything you want to recommend? Does anyone else read multiple books at the same time, switching back and forth, like I do?

Anyway, back to the Hemingway Daiquiri cocktail. This is a rum and citrus drink, with a bit of maraschino liqueur, and it reminds me of a less sweet, boozy limeade. The fresh citrus juice makes a world of difference, so get out your favorite juicer (check out mine below recipe). Hope you try it.

For 2 cocktails:

  • Ice
  • 4 ounces white rum
  • 1 1/2 ounces fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 ounce maraschino liquer

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all the ingredients and shake well. Strain into a chilled coupe glass (link below) and serve.

Here are my favorite juicer and coupe glasses in case you are interested:
