I’m really loving this new trend of infused vodkas that have flavor but not sugar added. For someone like me who doesn’t like very sweet drinks, they are perfect. I sometimes just drink them straight on ice and they are delicious. I saw this new one I hadn’t tried at our ABC and had to try it.
I wanted to bring a drink to a friend’s house to share and I decided to make a big batch of this cocktail. I combined the pear ginger infused vodka with some pear juice and a little touch of vanilla extract. I put the jar in the freezer for a day so it could get super cold, and we will drink this over ice. This is a great fall drink with the pear and vanilla flavors. I think this could be good warmed too on a cold night.
Pear Ginger Vanilla Cocktail
- 4 oz pear vodka
- 4 oz pear juice
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake until cold. Pour over ice and serve, or serve hot.
