If you are looking for a pretty and festive cocktail to serve for this holiday season, the poinsettia champagne cocktail is delicious and elegant and with only a few ingredients, you can whip them up fast.
This is a cranberry based cocktail with champagne and orange liqueur. If you want to make it fancy you can add a sprig of sage or rosemary to the glass, and some fresh cranberries. The red/green theme makes it a good Christmas drink.
You can use triple sec, cointreau, or any other orange based liqueur for this. You can also make a non alcoholic version for kids by taking out the orange liqueur and subbing OJ and sparkling water for the champagne.
A nice thing about this drink for the holidays is that you can mix up the base of the drink and store in the fridge or freezer and then just pour into glasses and top with fresh champagne when your guests arrive.
