Cranberry Whiskey Sour

This is another fun holiday cocktail you can easily scale up to make a big pitcher for a party. The addition of cranberry to the citrus in the drink adds flavor and also adds festive color. I had some orange syrup left from making candied orange peel, so I used some of that in this drink too. You can also add frozen cranberries or citrus slices to the punch bowl or pitcher to keep this cold and to make it look pretty.

Cranberry whiskey sours are easy to mix up ahead of time and store in the fridge or freezer so you have less work to do when it is time to relax and enjoy your holiday. I made mine a few days in advance and it has been chilling in my freezer ready to go.
