Verdant Lady Cocktail

I love the color of the verdant lady cocktail. The touch of green chartreuse and lime juice added to the gin makes it such a lovely pale green. If you haven’t had green chartreuse, it is a liqueur made with 130 herbs and plants and it has a sweet, spicy, and smooth flavor, with a an herbal finish.

Green chartreuse goes really well with gin and lime, and the fresh mint in this drink makes it really fresh and light. I used navy strength gin here because we like our cocktails strong. 🙂 This is a simple cocktail to make. Just add everything to a cocktail shaker with ice, shake vigorously for a minute, and string into a coupe glass. Garnish with a little mint and you have a beautiful, fresh, tasty drink.
