I had never heard of this cocktail before, but it was super delicious.  It is lightly sweet, a tiny bit tart, a little floral and has a good balance of flavors. The main component is gin, and you want to use a good quality one, since it is the main focus of the drink.
The original recipe called for honey gin, but I used regular and added a little honey and it worked great. You need some elderflower liqueur for this drink. There are several options available and all of them are decent. I felt like this was one of those drinks that does benefit from a chilled glass, so if you have the time, I’d suggest that. Hope you enjoy!
