Brooklyn Cocktail

A Manhattan is one of my all time favorite cocktails, but it is nice to sometimes mix it up a little bit and make a Brooklyn instead. This drink is very similar to a Manhattan but has dry vermouth and the addition of some maraschino liqueur. It is served with cocktail cherry as a garnish (I prefer the Luxardo brand, listed in my Favorite Item Links, they are just so much better than any others). I also garnished with a candied orange slice.

This drink is best served very cold, so chill the glasses if you have time. I like to mix up my cocktails a little early and stick them in the freezer for a while to get them ice cold.
