Turkey Lettuce Wraps

This recipe is one of the quickest meals there is, and it is good for you too. You just have to throw together a few ingredients into a sauce, brown some ground turkey (or chicken), scoop it into some lettuce and you are done. My grocery store carries these butter lettuce leaves already washed and separated so it makes this meal even easier.

I used ground turkey breast here. You can also use ground turkey or ground chicken. I love water chestnuts, and they add nice texture here. If you don’t like them, you can also buy the can of chow mein noodles from the grocery and add some of those on top and they add great crunch. If I had them, I’d add them to this. The sliced scallions really add flavor too.

For the sauce for this dish, you just need some soy sauce, some rice vinegar and some hoisin sauce. The hoisin is the main ingredient so you really need it. Most grocery stores carry it and you can also get it on amazon. I like the garlic hoisin but regular works too.
