We have some limoncello in our freezer that my sister in law brought us from Italy, and this cocktail made great use of it. I love both the name and flavor of this drink. It is a pretty strong one, and it has a complex but refreshing taste.
This drink has both gin and limoncello, along with orange and lemon juice, orange bitters, and a bit of aperol added before serving. I added a cocktail orange slice as well. Definitely serve in a chilled glass.
Bitter Bitch Cocktail
Refreshing cocktail featuring gin, limoncello, orange and lemon juice and topped off with aperol
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz gin
- 1 1/2 oz limoncello
- 3/4 oz fresh orange juice
- 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 2 tsp aperol
Instructions
- Pour everything but the aperol into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until cold. Strain into a chilled glass. Float the aperol on top and garnish with orange slice if desired.
