If you have followed along on my cooking blog for a while, you know I like my cocktails strong and this one was right up our alley. It reminded us of a Negroni and I definitely wished I had made extra when I finished it.
This drink is a whiskey drink with Fernet-Branca, sweet vermouth and Aperol, along with rhubarb bitters (you can use regular bitters if that is what you have). We have managed to collect quite a few types of bitters over the years and did have rhubarb, which was delicious.
