First Word Cocktail

Last night we tried this first word cocktail featuring gin, dry vermouth, Maraschino liqueur, aperol and lime. It was a bit sweet and very flavorful and these went down easy 🙂 I used Drumshambo gunpowder Irish gin in these, as well as Luxardo Maraschino liqueur.

This is an easy drink to make, as you just need to shake everything together with ice and strain into a glass. I definitely recommend chilling the glass for strong cocktails like this one. It makes the drink a lot more refreshing and tasty, since you aren’t serving it with ice. I love these coupe glasses I got from amazon. If you make cocktails at home, it is so nice to really enjoy drinking them out of a pretty glass.
