Festive Holiday Punch

I made this festive holiday punch for Thanksgiving, but it would make a great holiday party drink since you can make a big punch bowl full and people can serve themselves. This can be made with or without alcohol. I made it without and then those of us who wanted a cocktail added bourbon to ours. You could also add vodka if you don’t like bourbon.

This punch is a nice combo of apple cider and ginger beer (non-alcoholic) with lots of cut up apples, frozen cranberries, and pomegranate arils. I thought this had plenty of sweetness but you can add a little maple syrup if you want it sweeter. The frozen cranberries help chill the punch, but chill the cider, juice and ginger beer as well to keep it cold. You could also freeze the apple chunks, but I didn’t do that.
