Yuzu Sour

Yuzu Sour cocktail

A bold twist on a classic sour — the yuzu sour cocktail balances smoky whiskey with the bright, citrusy tang of yuzu juice, the herbal depth of Cynar, and a hint of warm spice from star anise. Lively, layered, and just mysterious enough to keep you sipping.

I bought some of this yuzu concentrate a while ago and have made so many tasty drinks with it (like this sparkling lychee yuzu lemonade), and found another one I really like. I’m a big fan of whiskey cocktails and I liked this interesting variation on a whiskey sour.

I suggest letting your whiskey sit with the star anise in it overnight before preparing this drink to be sure it has time to infuse its flavor.
