Coconut Matcha Vodka Sour is a refreshing twist on the classic vodka sour! Smooth vodka is shaken with earthy matcha tea, hydrating coconut water, bright lime juice, and a touch of simple syrup for balance. The result is a silky, vibrant green cocktail that’s light, citrusy, and perfectly energizing.
This was a super refreshing and interesting variation on a typical sour cocktail. I used concentrated matcha tea I made using matcha tea bags. You could also use instant matcha powder which would be even easier. Make the tea concentrate by adding two tea bags to 1/2 cup boiled water and allow to steep for 5 minutes, then remove the bags and cool the tea.
You definitely want this drink cold and I liked it served over ice. You could also serve in chilled glass without ice if you prefer. I love making cocktails, both new and classic. Check out my full collection of recipes here. They are all taste tested and approved.
