We all loved these honey mustard chicken wraps and they were quick and easy for a weeknight meal. If you aren’t a fan of honey mustard, you could make these with ranch or Caesar mayo instead of honey mustard mayo and they’d be equally good. Bacon would be amazing in these as well.
The combination of chicken, swiss, spinach, tomato, onion avocado and honey mustard is SOOOO good. I am going to make these again soon because I liked them so much. I used marinated and pan fried chicken tenders in these. You could also use breaded tenders, either homemade or frozen cooked ones. I marinated my chicken overnight in a simple mix of olive oil, salt, pepper and spices to make sure they’d be flavorful.

Swiss cheese goes great with this combination of ingredients, but any cheese could be subbed here too or you could leave the cheese out if you wish. We are addicted to the raw tortillas you can buy at the store and cook in less than a minute. They have an amazing chewy texture and are soooo much better than the precooked tortillas. I love using them like this for wraps too. They are perfect because they are thin and not bulky but add a lovely chew.
Honey Mustard Chicken Wraps
Ingredients
For the honey mustard mayo:
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp dijon or whole grain mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
For the chicken:
- 1 package chicken tenders
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- fresh black pepper
- 1/2 tsp thyme
For the wraps:
- 4 cook at home tortillas, wraps, flatbread or other
- 1 avocado sliced
- 2 tomatoes quartered and sliced
- 1/2 onion thinly sliced
- fresh spinach
- 4 slices swiss cheese
Instructions
For the chicken:
- Combine the marinade ingredients and add the chicken tenders. Mix well and let sit in fridge overnight. When ready to cook, heat a skillet over medium and add a little olive oil. Fry the tenders, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked. Set aside to cool a bit while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
For the honey mustard:
- Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.
For the wraps:
- If using raw tortillas, cook them and allow to cool a little before filling. Lay out a tortilla or wrap and spread a tbsp or two of honey mustard in the center. Cover with spinach leaves and then add some tomato, onion and avocado. Cover that with the sliced swiss and add some of the chicken.
- Roll up the wrap by pulling one side over the filling and then pulling it back towards you to make a tight roll. Fold in both sides and then roll up like a burrito. Cut in half and serve.
