When online grocery shopping a while ago, I accidently bought one of those big bottles of white wine, meaning to buy a regular sized one. Then, when ordering frozen fruit for my kids to make smoothies with, I accidentally bought a mix that was meant for making sangria that included pieces of orange and peach along with berries. These two mistakes combined seemed like the universe telling me to make sangria so I did 🙂
I made a lower sugar version, because I don’t like sweet drinks and typical sangria tends to give me a headache. I loved this version, and if you like it a bit sweeter you can just add lemonade to taste to this mix instead of lemon juice. The fun thing about sangria is that you can basically add whatever fruit you like to it as well. Mine has strawberries, blueberries, peach slices and orange slices.
I made this up the night before and put into the freeze so we could drink it more as a sangria slush and it was yummy like that. If you don’t want it slushy, just mix up when ready to drink and add the fruit.

White Wine Sangria

- 2 cups frozen fruit of your choice I used berries, peaches and oranges
- 1/2 cup vodka plain or fruit flavored
- 1/4 cup triple sec
- 2 tbsp lemon juice or add lemonade to taste for sweeter drink
- 1 can sparkling water (unsweetened) any flavor that works with your fruit
Instructions
- Combine everything in a glass pitcher so you can see your lovely fruit. If you didn't chill ahead, add a cup or two of ice as well to chill it all down well. Serve!
