Salted Negroni

This cocktail is exactly what it sounds like – a traditional negroni made with gin, sweet vermouth, and campari but with a pinch of salt added to help boost the flavors. We like negronis anyway, so I knew we’d like this, and we did. I love a little hint of salt in a cocktail and it works so well here.

A negroni is a simple cocktail to make because it is basically equal parts gin, vermouth and campari, or slightly less campari in some recipes but it can go either way. There is usually a grapefruit or orange twist. I like to add a packet of true orange or true grapefruit to boost the citrus a little and then the pinch of salt which brings it all together.
